Gold Partners have attained a higher degree of competence and commitment with respect to Cardtek products, are closely aligned with Cardtek, its strategies and priorities and therefore receive a higher degree of benefits. Gold Partners are companies who distribute or resell various vendor products in their markets and provide Level 1 and Level 2 support as well as implementation services including project management, business analysis, software development, integration and testing. These companies dedicate sales, product people, software developers, testers, project managers for local implementation. Gold Partners are assigned a Partner Account Manager as a single access point to address all communication within Cardtek. They will be listed as a Gold Partner on the Cardtek website with their Company Logo.


Requirements to become and retain the status as a Gold Partner include:

  1. Identify and appoint a Product Line Manager with responsibility for Cardtek products and solutions
  2. Provide Cardtek with a Quarterly Business Plan (QBP) and attend mandatory Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  3. Meet yearly revenue objectives for the Gold Partner level which are set as $ per annum per Territory.
  4. Gold Partner Product Line Manager and the Cardtek Partner Manager discuss and agree a Quarterly Business Plan for the forthcoming fiscal quarter and document such agreement using the Quarterly Business Plan form.
  5. Employ two or more sales professionals who have attained at least one of the following certifications relevant to the business activity area;

c. Payment Processing Services
d. Hardware Solutions
e. Smart City Solutions & Transit Operations
